Billing

All residential service is currently a flat rate per month. Customers may prepay for service for up to 12 months, otherwise monthly bills will be sent out. We bill for the previous month of service around the 10th of each month. Statements are usually only sent to customers who do not have a credit balance. If you want to receive a statement when you prepay, let the office know.

How to get your bill

The quickest way to get your bill is by email. Some customers still choose to get a paper bill by USPS mail. Let the office know what your preference is.

How to pay your bill

Payment may be made Autopay, by check, sent by mail or deposited in the drop-box at the distrct office. Many customers use their bank's bill pay service, available at most banks. If you pay monthly and don't want to receive a monthly statement, arrange to make your payment by the 5th of each month. See Autopay for details on our Autopay program.

Payment due date

Payments are due by the 10th of the next month. Accounts are considered delinquent if not paid more than 60 days past the due date. Delinquent accounts are subject to disconnection and additional fees. See the current  Water Rates & Fees Table.

Household Water Assistance Program

The Otter Rock Water District now participates in the Low-Income Household Water Assistance (LIHWA) program that may help pay a part of the water bill for income eligible residential customers. To find out if you qualify and if funds are available, please contact the Community Services Consortium (CSC) at (541) 265-8505.
